Not saying it's impossible, if i knew more about Stencyl I could probably support my argument more. Then again, we're talking about Stencyl here, not really serious if you're looking to develop games for the market. Also this is a child's toy compared to either Fusion 2.5 or GM:S. Knowing C# networking will definitely allow you to make servers for your game which has been done in GameMaker. GameMaker does have 3D support, and networking. Then again if you are looking for 3D support, at least Fusion 2.5 has a little 3D support, definitely not recommended, you're just better off going with Unit圓D or something like that. Stencyl does not officially support 3D games, although pseudo-3D and isometric games have been built. No Multiplayer support either, seems like a very limited software, and it would take a lot of complications to achieve 3D or multiplayer, not saying it's impossible, just very complicated and very time consuming if you're looking for either of these. Stencyl is for 2D games, pretty sure there is no 3D support. Don't really see any popular games made with Stencyl out there.

Both these suckI think I've tried Stencyl. The only up side about Fusion is you can do more application stuff but that's also a downside since it's mostly just Windows controls and stuff which looks unappealing. It's said that the developers have to rewrite the whole software again to fix the editors. GameMaker made things easier for me, the only hassles are the editors (Script editors, Room Editors, Image Editors). It's not too different from C# for me, so that's great also. I've barely touched Javascript but I believe the syntax is the same as GML.

I've bought GameMaker: Studio Professional Edition on the website, and not only do I get the license key for the software, I get the steam key too, after waiting a painful 2 weeks.

UPDATE 2: GameMaker: Studio definitely wins. Once I finish playing around with game maker and after I buy it, I'll remove this thread and compare both. I'm pretty sure that would take a long time to remake in Fusion since it's all just Drag and Drop. Take a look at this - Minecraft Classic remade in Game Maker. (I take this back too) ~ UPDATE 1: I'm now trying out game maker, one difference is game maker has less limitations, less complicated, and it's own scripting language language too. It's definitely a good head start before programming. It definitely takes a while to get used to, it isn't that appealing to the eye at first, but after a while you might start to adapt to it, and love it more.

You can't build for Mac or Linux, but I believe they are planning on doing it for Fusion 3.0… But you can get the Flash exporter, and flash can be used on browsers. I recreated PONG, and it was pretty fun doing.

So far I've spent around 75 or so hours on it (according to Steam), so I've learned a how to do the basics of a lot. Some games on steam were also created in Clickteam Fusion 2.5 like The Escapists, Five Night's At Freddy's, which have both indeed made front page of the steam store, and there are more listed in the description.

From $100 to about $33 is a great deal! (As of right now, it is 50% off) Anybody else have Fusion 2.5? If you don't know about Clickteam Fusion 2.5, it's basically like a more advanced Game Maker.(Now that I have GameMaker Professional Edition, I know that's false.) Fusion 2.5 is the engine Scott Cawthon (Creator of Five Night's At Freddy's) who did indeed spend around $700 for the developer edition, android and IOS exporters, and probably a few more stuff. Just recently got Clickteam Fusion 2.5 on Steam since it was %66 off.
